our story

Joshua House started in 1994 when a few people in their twenties began meeting together in a basement to seek after the person of Jesus and the purpose of God for their lives.  It was that simple...and it still is.  We aren’t in a basement anymore (thankfully), but we haven’t lost this pure desire to encounter God in a way that makes a difference in our lives so that we can make a difference in the lives of other people.

In those early days, God showed up in amazing ways and began changing lives and growing that small gathering into a large community of people passionate about Jesus.  God is still showing up in amazing ways and bringing faith, love, and hope to those that have given up on trying to be good enough for God.

Today Joshua House is a large community of Vineyard Columbus made up of people in and around our twenties.  We are students, professionals, singles, marrieds, and families.  Come and join us and make our story your story.
