Ash Wednesday has a long history in the tradition of the church as a time to contemplate sin, repent before God, and receive a mark of ash in the shape of a cross on your forehead.
This is the beginning of Lent, the season of preparation leading up to the celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ on Easter. Every year we join with Christians around the world by holding an Ash Wednesday service complete with worship, liturgy, and an ash ceremony. Please join us for a time of deep reflection and repentance.
